Description

Inzolo is the Xhosa word for silence – or quiet place. It is in the restorative sense of this word that Inzolo Spa has been created as a serene, quiet and calm therapeutic environment, situated within the tranquil setting of Hout Bay Manor. Shirley, who is at the helm of Inzolo, originates from Edinburgh, Scotland and is a qualified ITEC beauty therapist with more than 20 years’ experience. She is trained in QMS, Babor, Thalgo, Theravine and Africology to name a few houses. Thalgo is her preferred house. THALGO is the leading marine-based cosmetic brand in the World. THALGO’s Holistic Vision of Beauty combines Efficiency and Well-Being. The sea due to its concentration of active ingredients and its resourcing power, is the only natural element capable of bringing this two-fold regeneration. In the 19th century the French became the specialists in sea water based cures coined: “Thalassotherapy”. Thalassotherapy + Algotherapy = THALGO. For over 50 years, THALGO has drawn on the formidable potential of algae, concentrating on the natural and purest ingredients that are best accepted by the body. Each product is dramatically effective, safe and exceptionally gentle on the skin. Among the most exclusive of Cape Town spas, Inzolo comprises two inter-leading treatment rooms. One features double massage beds – ideal for a couples massage – and is used for massages, bodywork and facials. The other treatment room is used for manicures and pedicures. Inzolo Spa, in partnership with Dr. Varsha, also offer Concierge Aesthetics such as Botox and Voluma. Dr. Varsha has been privately educated at The Whykeham Collegiate & St. John’s DSG, she spent many a happy year there. She achieved her undergraduate degree at Stellenbosch University and then completed her post graduate at WITS University.
