“We honour the past by making the present enjoyable”
I was saddened when I heard that Papino’s had closed its doors earlier this year. A restaurant with such an amazing legacy should never just disappear.
I approached a few people and with their help we managed to acquire this piece of Hout Bay history and transform it to what you see today.
In honoring the past, I aim to bring back most of your favourite dishes from the original menu and have added a Jolly Cook twist to a few new dishes.
I aim to create a space where you feel comfortable. So if this is your first time here, I hope that you can feel the atmosphere of the good times and food that people enjoyed in this building over the many years that this restaurant was open.
