Description

Cape Town’s Quirkiest & Most Colourful

Qunu Cafe is in the Iziko Lobomi Community Centre, in the Hout Bay.  The cafe has vibrance, charm, and warm smiles.

The Qunu Cafe in Hout Bay is an unmissable experience. The cafe is inviting. With a bright colour scheme, fresh coffee, delicious Nespresso coffee, tempting snacks, and relaxed ambiance, so you will love spending down time here. The name is inspired by the small rural village where a little boy was born who would ultimately change South Africa, inspire the world, and teach us all to act with greater love, compassion, and tolerance towards one another. That man was Nelson Mandela, and we are proud to have his birthplace as the name of our cafe.

Supporting Local

A further unique element of the Qunu Cafe is the fact that it is 100% non-profit. All proceeds from the bustling coffee shop generates maintain and sustain the Iziko Lobomi Community Centre.

That’s why we like to say that a Qunu Cafe coffee is a genuinely Feel Good Coffee and you will feel it too!

Come and join us for a fresh coffee or delicious cappuccino, a refreshing ice tea, or quick espresso. We can’t wait to welcome you to our little tribute to Tata Madiba. You will never forget your visit to the Qunu Cafe in Hout Bay!
