The Collective Hout Bay is housed at the beautifully preserved and historic OLD POST OFFICE building ~ in Main Road , Hout Bay . Our shop is a collective effort of local makers and creators of quality bespoke furniture , ceramics and a wide variety of carefully curated gifts created locally and celebrating South Africa. The beautiful products are created by local artists and makers ( approximately 160 and the list keeps growing) . On the horizen, is the weekly market which will be held , allowing the creatives and makers to entertain visitors with their crafts and knowledge , making this a must visit weekend activity.
We will also soon be collaborating with the renowned team of Hout Bay Roastery to bring you their excellent coffee and treats at a few tables outside leading from our back door area .
The Collective Hout Bay trades daily from 08H30 to 17H00 and on Sundays 08H30 to 16H00
